i was playing around with some new texturing, and came up with this small example. What do u reckon? it'd make a good skin? [not this ss though

I started with just a basic skin like the one in the file attached.

.. used the gradient fill to get some colour then done some beveling using the 'inner bevel tool'.

then i just darkened, lightned, pushed and smudged into what u seen b4. imagination works well

Thats similar to the sort of effect i tried to achieve at one stage in after midnight, it messed up on that, but you've done it really nicely.

i like it, because it's different from a "normal! skin. Good choice of colors, too. What do I say?

It's fantastic! I like the green part, looks like a tree or something..

Needs a bit more anti-aliasing, too.

PM i got a sweet texture @ home ill post it when i get there ill send the bmp in the mail if ya like it i looks like smoke in a goth forest [Drk Green] i posted it here before i remember atmo complimenting me on it. i used it on mt sig (scan lines and innner & outer bevel, and my name)

PM sorry to say but forget abut my help if you still want that file i'll send it you can still use it just mesion my name in the readme.txt i forgot tomarrow is my last day off fror the rest of the summer i got a job at the local theme park i run this ride i work flex [open-close(9 am -11pm)] every day but mondays but monday is practice @ the local Vol. Fire Dept. the rest of that day is sleepy time
