Opera 5.12 : HELP !

HELP !
I just installed Opera 5.12 and it looks great but I'm now using IE because I couldn't login ! I've got an error message like "connection interrupted by server" or something like that when I try to login.

another question : Opera is the "worlds fastest browser" but is there a way to display a page before it has loaded every single image ?

Did you reload the page? Did you try to log in more than once? Did you try to log in at different times of the day? Please report back with some answers, 'kay bro?

Sure is. In the web site's window, click the button that looks like a monitor either once to turn off images completely, or twice to only show images that have already loaded. The latter setting doesn't always work on the Forums though because the background itself is one big image and our posts are text inside this image.

Okay, now everything works fine, I didn't setup the proxy properly :-)

My problem with Opera 5.11 is that I couldn't delete any messages on my Hotmail account! Even when I selected the messages and when I clicked "Supprimer", which is Delete in French, it said that no messages have been checked! WHAT THE FUCK'S GOING ON HERE?

Hotmail belongs to MS, therefore it only works if you use IE

Actually, that may be true because the use lots of freakin' JScript (which is modified by MS JavaScript) which works only in IE. Bleh MS should've been split

Opera only handles basic JavaScript operations, it can't get too fancy. JavaScript support in Opera has always sucked.

Actually, when Opera 5 came out, in the release notes they said that JavaScript support was improved and that Opera had almost full support for JavaScript
