here's a hint, make some gfx first and then people will decide. people want to know what they are getting into before they do it...

i was thinking that myself, i'm making some gfx atm. they are currently absolute crap but i'm getting somewhere. Going through many ideas for the skin design i'll post my final idea. It wont be very good at first just going through ideas like i already said to see what would be more effective

i was thinking of a triangle, but then i realised why there were no triangle skins. well lets say they dont look like anything u would want as a skin but my so called decent base idea now looks like 2 many other skins. I'll make it triangle

if u don't want a triangle y not cut the bottom to edges of the triangle off so that its not too boring and looks ok

yeah
best to actually draw sumthin down on paper first and work with ideas, pick the best and go from there. just makin sumthin the computer and using it sumtimes means that its not well planned and u might have to redesign later like i had to with my first skin. as long as u get an image that u can create in ur image editor and that will fit everything on it will b all good.

It looks a bit flat. Also, the edges are a bit jaggy (not just the buttons).

I've just finished a tutorial on how to do 3d looking shapes. If you'd like to check it out you can see it here: http://www.atmodigitaldesign.com/boa...topic.php?t=22

i know it looks flat and jaggy, it's because i just made the shaped seperately and dumped them on in pain, just my start of my design
