Can't style playlist scrollbars

Hi,

I'm just finishing up my first skin, but I've been dogged by a weird problem with the scrollbars in the playlist.

I've created a new window-elements image, and added bitmap definitions for studio.scrollbar and wasabi.scrollbar, and managed to change scrollbars in the media library etc, but not quite got the playlist right.

The hover and pressed scrollbars are working in the playlist, using my images, but the default scrollbar still appears as the standard grey scrollbar.

Any ideas?

does the window-elements PNG look like this, but with your graphics?
if it does then it may be a coding prob.

I'm pretty sure it is a coding problem. I've used a window elements image like that (i.e. initially copied from WACS) and a system-elements.xml file borrowed from another skin.

The skin I'm borrowing the system-elements file from does style the playlist scrollbars though, without any problems. Its just that for some reason the same code doesn't work in mine. Just wondering if anyone knows of anything that might be screwing it up...

Hmm, interesting problem indeed. It may be the order you include things in your skin.xml, but that seems unlikely if your hover and downs work fine. I think we may be able to help more if we could see the skin, or at least the files in question.

I owe you frisbeemonkey! Your site was very helpful for button actions and example scripts, and as soon I saw "It may be the order you include things" I realised I was being stupid. It works now - thanks.

Don't suppose you'd know why the screenshot doesn't appear in the preferences window under skins, even though I have

<screenshot>screenshot.png</screenshot>

and the file screenshot.png in the skin folder, would you?

Actually, having looked through some other skins, it seems that the screenshots never show up (always get 'image not found') and if you select other skins in the list it eventually crashes Winamp :-(

Is that something wrong on my PC, or with Winamp itself?

The skin info and screenshots are broken in one of the builds, I can't remember which one, try it on a different build.

Just downloaded the latest and it doesn't work.

Still - nice to know it isn't a problem with my skin ;-)
