Latest Download for Raspberry Pi

Where can I download the latest version for RaspberryPi? I'm currently running 2.2 and am unable to connect to the directory service.

Version: SHOUTcast Server v2.2.1.109/armv6(rpi)
Server: http://70.46.158.232:8000/
Server Status: Server is currently up and waiting on a Directory response.

a new download will probably not help, expect it as a temporary situation. v2 dnas servers should always work with respect to the yp, regardless of version.

Note: The latest RPI version was: SHOUTcast DNAS 2.4.7 (Build 256) 31st March 2015. All later versions have no RPI support.

Where can I download a copy of that version, and will it be able to connect to the directory service? 2.2 does not

I have in the past and applied it to the station in the admin area...but it still won't connect.

have you made any changes to the yp options in the dnas config? also check that your dns can resolve yp.shoutcast.com (try a ping)... your issue probably has nothing to do with your dnas version, it's most likely a network issue.

I can ping it, resolving to tomcat3.winamp.com.

I haven't made changes to yp in DNAS that I know of...here's my sc_serv.conf file, is that the same one?

the above message usually goes away, replaced by ...up and public.

what messages do you see in the log, and are you sure that your authhash is correct.

try setting ypport=80 to force http instead of https for connecting to the yp (could be a ssl cert issue)

I verified the auth code in the file matches what I see when I sign into shoutcast.com. I tried ypport=80 in sc_serv.conf and am still getting:

Server is currently up and received Directory error code: 480

Check the server log and / or contact the server administrator.

you have to look at the log for more details /admin.cgi?mode=viewlog - look for log entries containing [YP] - the status page only shows the most recent, current status, there will be several messages in the log.

the "480" error is the old "cannot see your station..." deal -- so static ip on your server? port forwarding configured to the server's static ip on your router? firewall disabled/configured on your server for portbase?

i can reach your server from here. there is a block somewhere... do you have any banned ips? blocking the directory tester ip or agent would cause issues.

No banned entries, just reserved...

I cleared out reserve for good measure...still 480.

i can listen too (your port forwarding, etc is perfect). is it really important that that the server is publicly listed?

I'd like people to be able to discover it...mostly just annoying. It's weird.

it seems like the directory tester is not acknoledging or recognizing your server (even though it successfully connects and gets data as a listener) - in this case it could be that the yp is frowning on the dnas version - i would have thought all v2 would be accepted, but that may not be the case. i haven't been able to find any documentation on the topic.

Mine is running on raspbian on a pi 2. It should run fine on your 3, but you'll need to source the latest DNAS. I am running liquidsoap/icecast.
