Hey all

I'm looking for a way or a software which will allow me to broadcast on Shoutcast only for a given period of time (e.g. 8 AM to 5 PM).

Well all you reall need to do is run the shoutcast server software until 5pm and shut it off. The shoutcast software runs on Windows, liunx, UNIX or MacOS. So you can simple have the server portion running for the time you need.

The radio program I am involved in airs only on thursday nights, so we do the same thing.

Also if you do leave the server software running 24/7, its still requires a source (winamp DSP for example) to stream. So if there is no stream source the server will report "error 401 service not available".

search the forums! don't PM me on how-to, or ask me to setup you system. you do it so you learn.
