Transparent Skins?

Hi,

I have a couple of questions:

1. Is there a modern Winamp skin/Bento theme that is fully transparent?

2. Failing the above, is there any way to get Winamp to use the native Windows theme instead of a Winamp skin?

I'm looking for an effect similar to this Opera skin: http://my.opera.com/community/custom.../info/?id=9281

Question 1
The preview/screenshot of the Opera skin was too small to make a good view of the skin. However, check out MusicShow, GlassAmp and/or WinVista.

Also, don't forget that you can change the opacity/transparency of Winamp's modern skins. By Ctrl+'right click' on a negative/"empty" space on Winamp ans selecting Opacity or in the Alpha Bleding tab in Winamp Preferences > Skins > Modern Skins

Question 2
Sorry the answer is no. However there are some skins made too look like the various Windows UI/themes. So, you might want to try searching for skins at Winamp.com/skins using various key words like Windows, Xp, Vista, etc..

Okay, I think I'll stick with Elemental for now then; it's nice and simple and classic skins seem to be better at handling large music collections.

Do you think you could create some skins that represent certain styles of music - blues, hard rock, classical etc?

nick your free to try by yourself
click create a skin in the skin menu and it will help you start by giving you the instructions you need

I'm actually eagerly awaiting a Windows 7 savvy Bento skin, but at the moment, it seems as though WinAmp development has ground to a halt.

right now they are getting kinks out of the program that have been reported since the last released version (some that have dumbfounded them for the longest)
