Mouse does not work in Media Player pane

I am using Winamp 5.572 with windows 7.

I cannot use the mouse to select and click on items in the media player pane although I can do so using keyboard.

The same configuration an a vista system works ok.

Help to fix my windows 7 setup would be appreciated.
