If its the acctual playlist font, thats controled by a text file in the skin archive itself called....pledit.txt

That file specifies to winamp what font to use in the playlist,most times it's just specified as a windows specific font, such as arial etc etc.

To display a font thats local to your machine, then you would need to extract the pledit.txt file from the skin, edit it, replace whatever font has been used with one that you know exists on your machine, and then finaly put the edited pledit.txt file back into the skin archive.

You would have to do this with every skin you own I would imagine.

The pledit file looks like this when you open it...
[Text]
Normal= #00FF00
Current=#FF0000
NormalBG=#000000
SelectedBG=#003F00
MBBG=#000000
MBFG=#FF0000
Font=Arial

Font being the defined font for that skins playlist.

What do you mean when you shrink it?
What do you mean "shows ok when in full position"?

As far as I know, the playlist will only shrink to a minimum size, and expand ******ds and downwards, as far as I know this dosn't effect the font size.

Have you tried altering the defaut size of the font that your playlist displays.

CTRL+P > Display > Playlist font size =....

All else fails, provide a screen shot of your problem in action.

Ahhhhh, I see, the winshade mode uses the "skinned" small font that is provided in the main .wsz archive called text.bmp.

It uses this for the scrolling song title on the main window, the Khz/Kbps boxes and the winshade font.

Hmmmmm, not sure you could alter that, other than re-making the text.bmp file to display hebrew, would be mighty tricky I would think.
Follow the instructions in my first post up there on how to extract that bitmap image from your skin archive.

While you can change the small font on the main window to the standard one specified in the skin, this dosn't change the playlist winshade area, so you would have to re-make that .bmp file, that's the only way I can think of.

Forget everything I've said LOL

Have a look at this plugin...
http://www.winamp.com/plugins/detail...omponentFlag=P

Once installed, this lets you pick various fonts etc etc for winamps various modes, including playlist winshade.

Download , Install, hit CTRL+K to select a plug in, look under the "general purpose" tab for "Tixoft Font Plug In II", hit configure

SOLVED IT!!! (Hebrew support for Winamp 2.91/Winamp 5)

Go to Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options -> Advanced
and then chose Hebrew under "Language for Non-Unicode Programs".
You will be prompt to enter Windows CD, then restart.

And now in hebrew:

לוח בקרה -> אפשרויות איזורים ושפות -> מתקדם
לבחור תחת "שפה עבור תוכניות שהן לא יוניקוד" בעברית.
תצטרכו להכניס את הדיסק של הווינדוז ואז לעשות ריסטרט.

Can't seem to edit so this will have to do.

In Windows 7 after entering Regional and Language Options -> Administrative -> Change System Locale -> Choose Hebrew.

לא יכול לערוך את הפוסט המקורי

בווינדוז 7 אחרי כניסה לאפשרויות איזורים ושפות -> מנהל -> שנה אזור מערכת -> עברית
